- Start a timeline and set deadlines. Brides usually starts
choosing favors 4 to 6 months ahead. (I have brides who orders favors a
year in advance but would have a specific date for delivery). Personalized items takes a little more time in preparation. Planning ahead
will save you from RUSH fees. Give ample time in ordering your favors.
|
- Know the quantity of wedding favors you need. If you had
sent out 100 invitations and are expecting 80 guests, I always recommend to
order half or 10 pieces more extra of the quantity. Remember that couples get only one favor, Family
gets only one or two favors (If they are 6 you might want to give 3 favors
per family). These are a few details that will help you decide on how much favor
you should purchase. Some brides who are giving edible favors usually give one
per person.

- As an Alternative to floral centerpieces,
group favors together on the wedding table. Prettifying favors may be a bit more
money but in overall, you would probably save more.
|
- Use wedding favors as seating cards. to save a
bit on stationery and favor cost. You may order
personalized place cards or you
can order blank place cards, affix them to the favors, and set in order on a
table near the entrance.
|
- Working with a palette or theme in mind is a smart
way to plan a large event and matching the wedding favors to the day's
color palette will unify the whole wedding.
|
- Pink and Brown color combination is the
hottest wedding color combination of this wedding season.

-
Ribbons
are an easy way to work your wedding color palette. You may
incorporate these ribbons in prettifying your wedding favors and
still be able to use them in your wedding bubbles.

|
- Keep your guests comfort in mind. For outdoor
or summer weddings, provide fans for the ceremony. You may either
use
palm hand fans or
program
fans for dual purpose.
